How many treatments will I need? One or more treatments may be required based on the laxity of the skin and the desired degree of correction. Cumulative results/additional treatments may be completed 6-8 weeks apart at 50% off the regular cost. (when completed within a 12 week period) How long will results last? Unfortunately we can't stop the aging process however, this treatment does stimulate your fibroblasts and naturally boosts collagen production, results will continue to increase over the following 4-6 week after treatment and can last up to 3 years. Annual appointments may be suggested for the maintenance of optimal results. Is it painful? There is discomfort during the procedure if topical numbing agents are not used however, we will always apply a numbing cream at the time of your appointment prior to the service and allow the necessary time to give you the most comfortable experience. An anti-inflammatory medication such as ibuprofen can be taken. What will my skin look like after? Immediately after your service your skin may feel tender similar to a sunburn, redness and swelling will be present. Swelling may be present 3-5 days especially on treatments around the eyes. We recommend taking some time off to allow for optimal healing of specific treatment areas. Carbon crusts / dots will form on the surface of the skin and last anywhere from 5-7 days or more. These crusts must be left to shed off naturally without any picking, rubbing, or scratching. Dry healing is recommended 24 hours after treatment. Colloidal silver spray is recommended as a topical healing aid following treatment, no other antiseptic ointments, alcohol based products, cleansers, exfoliants or dressings should be used if not recommended by your technician. A Cold compress will be provided to reduce pain and swelling immediately following your treatment. anti-inflammatory medication and/or anti-histamine may help alleviate the swelling. What else do I need to know? Sun exposure must be avoided 7 days after the treatment, and sunscreen used during any sun exposure 12 weeks thereafter. 7 Days no makeup on the treated area. No alcoholic beverages 24 hours before or after Avoiding smoking 24 hours after treatment is preferred Unfortunately dark skin tones are not candidates for this form of procedure with a risk of hyper/hypo-pigmentation. Your safety is our concern, mole removals will only be available with a doctors written or verbal approval, (no longer than 3 months prior to treatment) Client must be in good health at the time of the appointment and pose no sun burn, skin infection, rash or health conditions which may slow the healing process.
